Three programmable loads with 2.8 kVA each

Phase shifting of ±90° possible by virtue of variable resistance

Phase shifting creates harmonics due to current cufoff occuring at the voltage zero-crossing and no available reactances

Various AC loads can be simulated

Load curves computed as stochastic time profiles within Matlab/Simulink

Value of collective load current is the control variable sent to the electronic devices

By use of master-slave-connection the respective current values are allocated to the specific units
